On 7 May 2024 we opened the doors to Restaurant Frederiksværk Hotel – a dream come true. We have created a place where good food, a cosy atmosphere and the best ingredients take centre stage.
Our menu follows the changing seasons and our guests' wishes. Here you can enjoy both classic dishes and exciting new interpretations that bring the flavours of North Zealand together on one plate.

Restaurant Frederiksværk Hotel is a culinary gem in North Zealand. We serve classic Danish food prepared with love and respect for the ingredients, with a focus on local, seasonal produce from the best suppliers in the area.
The menu ranges from traditional Danish dishes such as smørrebrød (open sandwiches) and stegt flæsk (crispy pork belly) to modern takes on the classics. Our popular "Dish of the day" at just DKK 125 is a favourite with regulars and new visitors alike.
The restaurant is ideal for an everyday lunch, a romantic dinner or larger parties. With room for up to 80 guests, we can host everything from intimate dinners to confirmations, birthdays and company events.
